Dr. Nathan Price

Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Price is an Iowa native. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.) from Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa, in 2002.

Dr. Price is a fourth-generation chiropractor to have graduated from the fountainhead of chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic. He experienced the many benefits of chiropractic care from birth, as more than 20 of his family members, including great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins have devoted their lives to helping educate people about the lifelong health benefits of chiropractic medicine and how they can achieve a level of wellness they never thought possible. His grandfather, the late Dr. Galen Price, taught philosophy for 40 years at Palmer and later sat as president of the college. Dr. Price still reflects on conversations he had with his grandfather. Over time, science has only supported what his grandfather told him years back on how the human body is designed to function at an optimal level.

Dr. Price and his wife Kimberly are proud parents of four beautiful children. When he isn’t watching soccer, baseball, or one of their many other sporting events, he can be found at the gym or deep in the woods in a tree stand, enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors.

Dr. Price has been a chiropractor Des Moines since the fall of 2002. Through natural, complementary, and alternative methods, he treats people in pain every day. His hope is to provide a road map for individuals to learn the healing potential of their bodies and the many opportunities they have for experiencing the powerful benefits of living healthier lives.

Dr. Abbie Mork

Dr. Abbie Mork

Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Abbie Mork has a passion for helping people improve their health. Unlike most chiropractors in Des Moines she doesn’t have an in and out approach. She enjoys getting to know her patients and devising a care plan unique to the individual. With a broad range of services like chiropractic, acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, Graston Therapy  and strength training she can treat and get patients better faster.

Her Story
She was born and raised in Adel. just west of Des Moines. While in high school, she was very active in sports such as softball, volleyball, and golf. After graduating in 2002, Dr. Abbie attended The University of Iowa. In 2006, she received a bachelor's degree in sociology and also completed all of the prerequisites required to attend chiropractic school.

In the summer of 2006, she started Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While attending school, she had jobs that included being a research assistant, a rehabilitation intern, and a clinical teaching assistant. She was also involved in Sports Council where they provided free chiropractic care to athletes and supporters at local sporting events. Also, she did a clinic abroad trip to Honduras where they provided free chiropractic services and provided education on chiropractic care and its value in overall wellness. Also while at school, she completed the Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (C.C.E.P.) program. In February of 2010, she graduated from Palmer with hopes of finding employment in and around the Des Moines area.

Since graduating, she has continued to receive continued education to help her better serve her patients. Some highlights include
  • 2011 - Certified Chiropractic Acupuncturist
  • 2011 - Corrective Exercise Specialist through NASM.
  • 2016 - USA Powerlifting state level judge
  • 2021 - Graston Therapy Specialist
Dr. Abbie does a good job staying busy when outside the office. She trains often at 22nd Street Barbell and leads small group strength training classes. This led her to co-found Raise the Bar Initiative, a local non-profit focused on educating and providing opportunities for every woman to develop strength. Plus, her parents as well as sisters and their families all live here locally so she spends time with them often. Although Dr. Abbie has no kids of her own, Esme & Theo her two dogs keep her busy.

If you would like to email Dr. Abbie Mork any questions or comments, her email address is Dr.MorkDC@gmail.com.

Kimberly Price

Hey! I’m Kimberly.

Nutritionist, Wellness Advocate & Certified Holistic Health Practitioner dedicated to helping you…well, live your best life!

Things that make me… me.
being a wife and mother of four amazing and creative kids.
staying up too late.
creating traditions and lasting memories with family.
sharing life with close friends.
exploring all the adventures of the great outdoors.
enjoying healthy eats.
taking the world in behind a lens.
planning new adventures… the world is a giant playground.
getting lost in quiet meditation.
sipping a good cup of coffee.
curling up with a good book.
laughing at and sometimes with myself.
understanding that my time on this earth is finite, and I need to make an impact today.

My beginnings . . .
I was born an Iowa girl, but life and experiences have taken me all over the globe. After traveling, I made my way back home, married a boy from my hometown (Yes, Dr. Price), that I didn’t meet until college. We stayed in Iowa, started our own businesses, bought a house and had FOUR kids in six years. We were on our way to living the American dream or so we thought….when life took an unexpected turn.

I’ll never forget receiving the call that nobody wants to get from their physician. I remember sitting on the edge of my bathtub, as he explained that the biopsy of my lymph node was positive, “I had cancer.” I felt terrified and alone but knew that on the other side of that bathroom door were four little kids that needed their mom.

In the weeks that followed, I was diagnosed with stage IV Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a treatable not curable cancer that generally only affects 60+ men. After extensive research and a lot of debate, I chose to do chemotherapy and another targeted drug and was declared in remission in 2010. I’ve spent the last 9 years focused on learning, rebuilding and maintaining a cancer free healthy lifestyle.

The road has not been easy, but I’ve chosen to view this “life-changing event” as my OPPORTUNITY to live bigger, love harder, forgive often, connect deeper and live each day to inspire and impact others.

Where am I taking you? Onward and upward, of course…
From my own experiences, love for helping, dedication to serving, and passion for creating what may not exist….I will provide you with a roadmap to Refresh, Reboot and Rebuild your health today, so you can live the life you want tomorrow!

Whether you are struggling with fatigue, anxiety, weight gain, hormones, a recent change in your health, or are just looking to make a positive change, we’re here to help you uncover your healthcare needs, so that you can live a healthier happier life.

I look forward to growing and thriving together.

Nicole Huntington
Office Manager
Hey - I’m Molly! I grew up west of Des Moines in Earlham, Iowa. I am the third of four girls and aunt to 5 wonderful humans. My parents still live in Earlham, and their farm is one of my favorite places.

In high school, I played basketball and ran cross country and track. Being part of such great teams provided me with many fond memories and some of my very best friends to this day. A love for athletics in high school led me to a degree in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University. During my time at ISU, I learned more about health and wellness and how to implement those practices into my everyday life.

Post-college, my career path has varied from banking to event planning. No matter my title, these things have been constant:
1) My love for people and the desire to build relationships
2) A passion for health and wellness

The winding road led me to Price Performance Chiropractic, where my constants are holding true. I have enjoyed getting to know so many patients, and I look forward to playing a small part in your experience at the office!

When I am not at the office, I am spending time with my husband, Matt, our Boxer, Jones, or our family and friends. I love time spent over a cup of coffee or curled up with a good book. Running is a pastime I have learned to appreciate and yoga is a new passion. I love traveling and the adventures it can bring. Above all else, I enjoy time spent with my people.

I am here to help! If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call me at 515-277-2377 or email office@priceperformancechiro.com
